Tickets to Disneyland & California Adventure
Disneyland Resort is broken up into two individual parks, Disneyland and California Adventure. There are many ticket options that will get you into either park, and there are also ticket options that allow you to go back and forth between the parks at your leisure. Deciding on tickets really depends on how long you will be visiting Disneyland Resort and if you have been there or not. There are enhanced tickets which help you save on trips that will last several days at the park. If you are going for just a single day, and will not be returning in the near future, general admission 1-Day tickets or a Park Hopper ticket are your best option.
First Time Disneyland Visitors
If you have not been to Disneyland before - it's a no brainer. Visit the original Disneyland. There is plenty to do inside of either park for a day, and as great as California Adventure is, we recommend starting with the original Disneyland. Visit Disneyland forseveral days
Multi-day tickets are a great way to bring down the cost of your Disneyland vacation. You can buy single park tickets or Park Hopper tickets. Single park tickets allow you to visit only one park per day, but get you multiple day access into the parks. You can purchase between 1-5 Day, 1 park per day tickets, or 1-5 Day Park Hopper Tickets. 1 park per day tickets are cheaper and are the best way to save on your trip. Park Hopper tickets have a nice benefit of going back and forth between parks, but its important to highlight that you can spend 1+ days at either park individually. If you are visiting for multiple days and want to save - buy single day tickets and visit both parks on days 1 & 2. Then on the remaining days you can return to whichever park you enjoyed more.
Certain Disneyland passes are enhances with Magic Morning which allows you to enter the park before regular hours certain days of the week. Magic Morning is great for getting early access to your favorite rides and attractions. Spare the lines and enjoy the Magic Morning add on.
Park Hopper Tickets
Disneyland offers several different ticket options based on which park you would like to see and how long you will be rising the Disneyland Resort. Park Hopper upgrades allow you to go between the Disneyland Park and California Adventure Park at your leisure. Standard Disneyland tickets allow you to enter only one park per day. Enjoy the flexibility of cruising between parks during your visit.
You don’t need to enter the park to enjoy Disney, top-notch dining, and shopping. Downtown Disney is located along the entranceway of the parks, but does not require you to have a ticket to enter. Parking is available for guests who would like to visit Disneyland to enjoy the shopping and dining experience of Downtown Disney which includes several restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues including the House of Blues Anaheim.
